Why is the study of "History" mostly about humans, and the study of "Natural History" mostly about everything else?

This two hour, in-person discussion- lecture course will explore how and why History and Natural History became estranged, and why a more holistic, integrated approach would be better for both.

An improbable fish story will illustrate the general point.

Dick Miller is an academic historian in recovery who takes and offers lots of LLCC courses.

For this class, at the instructor's request, all attendees and volunteers are required to wear masks (covering their nose and mouth) in all areas of the venue and throughout the class
