Famous local chef, Debbie Dugan, invites serious and casual cooks to enter her kitchen. You can relax and enjoy socializing and eating a gourmet meal prepared by an expert chef. During the class, Debbie will share lots of advice involving nutrition, cooking tips, shopping, where to buy, where to dine and how to get organized to cook and entertain. The meal will be elegant but easy (Debbie promises!) and will be perfect for a Summer get-together.
Printed recipes are provided. Recipes are printed in a packet, guests can watch or participate as they enjoy the food that is prepared in front of them. Questions are answered and guests always have a great time!
Your lunch will include Brie Puff Pastry Square Tarts with arugula, red onion, tomato, prosciutto, pesto, arugula and a simple dressing. The entrée will be fresh salmon, marinated Asian style, roasted, and glazed and served over Black Forbidden Rice The dessert will be Raspberry White Chocolate Lava Cakes.
The cost is $60 per person. The usual class admission charge and service fee will be waived by Ticketleap. Bring check or cash to the venue. No credit cards,please. You may bring champagne, wine or beer as there will be a self-serve bar complete with glasses. Prepare to be spoiled!

Debbie has trained in Europe's most prestigious culinary schools, including the Cordon Bleu in Paris and London, La Varenne in Burgundy, France and Avignonesi Culinary Center and Tenuta de Capezzana in the Tuscany region of Italy, the Emilia- Romangna region of Northern Italy, and most recently Southern Italy.
Locally, Debbie has guest lectured at Cal Poly Food Science and Nutrition Department, teaching Customs and Cultures in Food, and taught at AllenHancock Junior College. Debbie holds a Speech Communications degree from Cal Poly.
