What Hospice Is and Is Not

Everyone dies.  That’s a fact.  Most of us would prefer to die in our sleep without suffering serious illness or disease.  That’s not what usually happens.  Chances are you’ll need hospice care or a member of your family will need it or a good friend will need it or a good friend’s family member will need it.  “Knowledge is everything.” In this case, it’s especially true.

 Hospice care provides a team of people to help not only the patient but the patient’s family.  Hospice care, in fact, provides life to days when you can’t add days to life.
